Kelly J Hamilton

Kelly J. Hamilton graduated from San Jose State University in 1986. She worked as a workers compensation claims adjuster for five years before working as a law clerk for a defense workers compensation firm while attending law school. She achieved her Juris Doctorate from Western State University of Law in 1995. Mrs. Hamilton has over 20 years of experience in the defense of workers compensation cases both from the view of the adjuster and the attorney. She is also one of the founding partners of H2H Law.

Mrs. Hamilton is a Certified Impairment Rater and is qualified to review and assess medical reports which utilize the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment. In addition, in the early 1990s, she taught Permanent Disability Rating (CA13) for the IEA (Insurance Education Association). As such, Mrs. Hamilton is qualified to perform ratings under both California Rating Schedules.

Mrs. Hamilton regularly lectures at seminars for adjusters and attorneys on many issues, including the legal ramifications of SB 899 and the AMA Guides. Mrs. Hamilton lives in Northern California with her husband of twenty-two years and their three young children.
